Since I had plans to visit family in Texas on my actual birthday, Dan surprised me the weekend before with a little staycation action on Miami Beach. We stayed at The Hilton Cabana and it surprisingly was more relaxing than I thought it would be! The room was super cute; had that Art Deco vibe, but still very sleek and minimal. There was a good mix of families and children vs. couples, an overall very calm atmosphere.

We walked over to Burgers & Shakes, kind of a hole in the wall on the beach, but if you’re looking for a good burger/fry and shake combo it’s definitely up on the list. Can you tell we were going with the whole touristy vibe? After walking back to the hotel and letting our food settle we hopped in the hot tub for a bit. In our favor, the water was more lukewarm than hot so we hung out people watching for a bit with a full moon in the background.

We enjoyed the semi-private beach with beautiful blue skies and high temps {as usual} good thing there was complimentary water everywhere you turned cause it really was scorching!

And of course, I wore my ultimate fav bathing suit top!

It was actually really nice to vacation in our own city. I can definitely see us doing this again, maybe next time we’ll finally go down to the Keys!

Thanks for catching up with me friends, ’till next week!

XO, Gaby
